Enable an eSignature

To help authenticate training, Konvert™ offers eSignature validation upon completion of designated learning modules. eSignatures can be enabled by an administrator. Once enabled, an eSignature page will display at the end of a module upon completion. 

  • eSignatures can be enable or disabled through the module editor
  • A user must complete all learning before they can access the eSignature page
  • Combined with additional Konvert™ features, eSignatures can meet the FDA's Title 21, part 11 requirements

  • How to access the module editor and eSignature settings
  • How to enable eSignature

ACCESS THE MODULE EDITOR AND ESIGNATURE SETTINGS

To access the Module Editor page and eSignature settings, click the drop-down menu on the left and click the Portal Administration link (Fig. 1).

From the Portal Administration page, select the Learning Management System Module Administration card (Fig. 2).

From the Learning Management System Module Administration page, click the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 3) in the upper righthand corner of the page, then click the pencil icon (Fig. 4) of the preferred module to access the Module Editor page.

From the Module Editor page, select the Advanced tab (Fig. 5).

ENABLE ESIGNATURE

Locate the eSignature section and select the Require users to submit signature when completing this module checkbox (Fig. 6).

Once enabled, the eSignature Statement field (Fig. 7) will display. The eSignature Statement will be shown to the user when they are signing at the end of the module. Utilize the default eSignature Statement or enter a custom statement.

Click the Save button (Fig. 8) and the Close Editor button (Fig 9).

eSignature is included in the Enterprise plan and is offered as an add-on with the Professional plan.
