Manage News and Updates

Konvert™ administrators can easily populate their  News and Updates homepage widget with custom articles. 

In this article, we will explain:

  • How to access the News & Updates page
  • How to add an article
  • How to edit an article
  • How to publish or unpublish an article
  • How to delete an article

ACCESS THE NEWS & UPDATES PAGE

Your news & updates articles can be created and managed through the News & Updates page (Fig. 1). To access the News & Updates page, click the drop-down menu on the left and select the Portal Administration link (Fig. 2).

From the Portal Administration page, select the News & Updates card (Fig. 3).

If the News & Updates widget (Fig. 4) is added to your homepage layout, you can access the News & Updates page (Fig. 1) by clicking on the View All button in the top righthand corner of the widget.

ADD NEWS AND UPDATES ARTICLES

From the News & Updates page (Fig. 1), click the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 5) in the top righthand corner of the page. Once in edit mode, click the Add News button (Fig. 6)

From the Add News page (Fig. 7):

  • Add a title in the Title field
  • Select the date in the Date field
  • Upload an image by clicking on the Upload Image button
  • Enter your body copy in the Body filed

Click the  Save button.

EDIT AN ARTICLE

To edit a news article, navigate to the News & Updates page (Fig. 1) and click the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 5) in the top righthand corner of the page. Once in edit mode, click the pencil icon (Fig. 8) in the top righthand corner of the article you would like to edit. Modify the fields as needed and click the Save button and the Close Editor button.

PUBLISH AND UNPUBLISH ARTICLES

Unpublish an Article: When an article is first created it is published. To unpublish an article, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 5) in the top righthand corner of the News and Updates page (Fig. 1). Once in edit mode, click the pencil icon (Fig. 7) in the top righthand corner of the article you would like to unpublish. Click the Unpublish button (Fig. 9) in the lower righthand corner of the page and click the Close Editor button.

Publish an Article: To publish an article, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 5) in the top righthand corner of the News and Updates page (Fig. 1). Once in edit mode, click the pencil icon (Fig. 7) in the top righthand corner of the article you would like to publish. Click the Publish button (Fig. 10) in the lower righthand corner of the page and click the Close Editor button.

DELETE AN ARTICLE

To delete a news article, navigate to the  News & Updates page (Fig. 1) and click the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 5) in the top righthand corner of the page. Once in edit mode, click the pencil icon (Fig. 8) in the top righthand corner of the article you would like to delete. Click the Delete button (Fig. 11) in the bottom righthand corner of the page. Confirm deletion by clicking the Yes, Delete button.
