Creating Public Access Links
Public access allows you to send a link to an asset to anyone in the world — they don't need access to the portal to see it. By sharing the link, your audience will be able to view the or download the asset (Fig. 1).
ENABLE PUBLIC ACCESS TO AN ASSET
You can enable public access to a new or existing asset in your DAM.
Enable Public Access To A New Asset: To enable public access to a new asset, upload your file and select the Allow Public Access check box (Fig. 2).
Enable Public Access To An Existing Asset: To enable public access to an existing asset, locate your asset in your asset library and click on the information button (Fig. 3) located below the asset name. This will open the asset editor page. Click on the Manage Public Access button at the top right-hand corner of the page and select the Enable Public Access check box (Fig. 4).
COPY AND SHARE YOUR PUBLIC ACCESS LINK URL
There are two ways to copy and share your public access link URL.
From the document editor page, click the Manage Public Access button at the top right-hand corner of the page and click on the Copy Public Link button (Fig. 4).
Located the asset in your asset library and click on the share button (Fig. 5) located below the asset name. The public file page will open (Fig. 1). Copy the URL from the address bar to share it with your audience.
