Adding and Managing Homepage and Module Catalog Banners
On the portal Homepage and Module Catalog page, Konvert™ administrators can edit, customize and assign banners to users in select groups. The Banner Editor feature includes the ability to:
- Reorder current banners
- Upload your own imagery
- Select color schemes
- Add custom headlines and text
- Include a clickable URL
- Assign group access

ACCESS THE EDIT BANNERS PAGE
To access the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click on the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 2) in the top-right corner of the Homepage or Module Catalog page. Click the Edit Banners button (Fig. 3) above the top-right corner of the Banner widget (Fig. 4). To learn more about the Banner widget, visit the Manage a Banner Widget article.

CREATE A BANNER
From the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click the Create Banner card (Fig. 5).

Upload a background image or select a background color. To upload an image, select Upload Image and then click the Upload Image button (Fig. 6).

Drag and drop your image into the box or click the Add a File button (Fig. 7).
Note: We recommend a minimum resolution of 2248 pixels x 750 pixels. Banners can be larger or smaller but should stay true to a 3:1 aspect ratio. Keep in mind that very high-resolution images may cause performance issues for some users.

To select a background color, click Select Color button (Fig. 8) and select your color from the drop-down menu. Background colors can be your primary color, your secondary color, your tertiary color, black or white.

To include an optional headline and/or description, select the Include Text Box option and enter text in the Banner Title and Banner Subtitle fields (Fig. 9).

Choose your Title / Subtitle Color from the drop-down menu (Fig. 10). Your text color can be your primary color, your secondary color, your tertiary color, black or white.

Select your Text Box Background Color from the drop-down menu (Fig. 11). Your background color can be your primary color, your secondary color, your tertiary color, black or white. You can also choose Automatic which will auto-select a background color based on your text color. For example, if a light text color is selected, a dark background will be applied. If a dark text color is selected, a light background will be applied.

Select your Text Box Position from the drop-down menu (Fig. 12). Your text box can be displayed at the top-left, top-right, bottom-left or bottom-right corner of the banner.

Select your Text Box Opacity (Fig. 13). Opacity can range from 0% to 100%.

If you would like the banner to link to a URL, enter the URL in the Link field (Fig. 14). Click the checkbox if you would like the link to open in a new tab.

To assign access to a specific set of users, select a group from the Group Access drop-down menu (Fig. 15). Only users in the selected group(s) will see this banner.

Click the Save button (Fig. 16). Your banner has now be created but has not yet been published.

EDIT A BANNER
To edit a banner, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 2) in the top-right corner of the Homepage or Module Catalog page. Once in edit mode, click the Edit Banners button (Fig. 3) above the top-right corner of the Banner widget (Fig. 4). From the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click the pencil icon (Fig. 17) in the top-right corner of the banner you would like to edit. Modify the fields as needed and click the Save button and the Close Editor button.

PUBLISH AND UNPUBLISH BANNERS
Publish a Banner: When a banner is first created, it is unpublished. You will need to publish it before it is visible on the Homepage or Module Catalog page. To publish a banner, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 2) in the top-right corner of the Homepage or Module Catalog page. Once in edit mode, click the Edit Banners button (Fig. 3) above the top-right corner of the Banner widget (Fig. 4). From the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click the pencil icon (Fig. 17) in the top-right corner of the banner you would like to publish. Click the Publish button (Fig. 18) in the bottom-right corner of the page and click the Close Editor button.

Unpublish a Banner: To unpublish a banner, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 2) in the top-right corner of the Homepage or Module Catalog page. Once in edit mode, click the Edit Banners button (Fig. 3) above the top-right corner of the Banner widget (Fig. 4). From the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click the pencil icon (Fig. 17) in the top-right corner of the banner you would like to unpublish. Click the Unpublish button (Fig. 19) in the bottom-right corner of the page and click the Close Editor button.

REORDER BANNERS
To reorder banners, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 2) in the top-right corner of the Homepage or Module Catalog page. Once in edit mode, click the Edit Banners button (Fig. 3) above the top-right corner of the Banner widget (Fig. 4). From the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click the Reorder Banners toggle (Fig. 20) in the top-left corner of the page. Drag and drop banners into your preferred order. Turn off the Reorder Banners toggle once you have finished reordering the banners. Once complete, click the Close Editor button.

DELETE A BANNER
To delete a banner, enable edit mode by clicking the Edit Mode toggle (Fig. 2) in the top-right corner of the Homepage or Module Catalog page. Once in edit mode, click the Edit Banners button (Fig. 3) above the top-right corner of the Banner widget (Fig. 4). From the Edit Banners page (Fig. 1), click the pencil icon (Fig. 17) in the top-right corner of the banner you would like to delete. Click the Delete button (Fig. 21) in the bottom-right corner of the page. Confirm deletion by clicking the Yes, Delete button.
